Current campaign status

Chappie is a proposed community-led entertainment robotics project. The physical robot is not yet a validated product. This website currently presents the concept and proposed funding tiers. Payments remain closed until the campaign operator publishes final terms.

Conditional benefits

All tiers describe proposed benefits. Hardware allocations, event access, software releases, and fulfillment depend on funding, engineering feasibility, production capacity, and final terms. No shipping date or physical performance is guaranteed. The Robot Pioneers tier is a proposed allocation, not a raffle or guaranteed robot purchase.

No ownership or investment rights

Contributions do not buy equity, tokens, financial returns, binding votes, or an ownership interest. No tax-deductibility is represented. The $1 billion target is a development ambition, not an assurance that it will be raised.

Before accepting funds

The campaign must publish its legal operator, support contact, contribution and refund policy, handling of an unmet goal, jurisdictions served, taxes and shipping responsibilities, and final reward terms. The software payment gate is disabled by default.

Community participation

Discuss designs and challenges respectfully. Do not post personal information, spam, threats, or unlawful content. Comments are public and may be moderated. Supporter suggestions inform the project but do not create binding governance rights.

Open development

The intended open-source scope and licenses have not yet been finalized. The original virtual Chappie rig is reused from Chappie Works at the project owner’s request; this does not establish a redistribution license for third parties.
